I began my real estate career in 2009 right after the market crash of 2008. I wanted to become a Realtor for years prior and I was not going to let the failing housing market of 2008 stop me. I got up every day in 2009 and went to the office even though there was not much going on in real estate sales at that time. I was determined to learn this business and make it my career. In late 2009 and early 2010 my business began to grow and Paul Carswell joined me as a licensed Realtor. Over the years we have expanded into The Carswell Team consisting of 3 licensed real estate professionals.

My professional background started with retail management at Lee ‘n Ann’s children’s clothing store and Lee ‘n Ann’s Stride Rite shoe store. The long hours of retail prepared me for the many hours required for a very successful real estate career.

Real estate sales takes a lot of time and energy and I love it. Finding a passion is important and I rank real estate near the top of my list.

It is important to me to to volunteer in our community, support locally owned businesses and help people understand why they would want to live in this part of North Carolina. I love living in the foothills and being able to work here and into the mountains of North Carolina. We have the most beautiful state and I want everyone to know why this is the best place to work and live.

I am proud to call North Carolina home.
